Anthony Davis, Scout.com’s current No. 5 prospect in the country (and rising) visited a national power on Sunday known as the Kentucky Wildcats.
John Calipari’s Wildcats hosted Davis on an unofficial visit.
“We did an unofficial visit at Kentucky yesterday (Sunday). It went well. They told him they were very interested in him. Coach Calipari told him that his type of game will fit their style of play.”
The rise of Anthony Davis, a 6-foot-9 power forward out of Chicago’s Perspectives Charter, has been well documented. He went from being an unknown guard to a potential No. 1 big man in the span of a year.

ReplyDeleteAgree. it appears Anthony has moved to the top of Cal's list for the 2011 Class. Davis could very easily end up the overall No. 1 prospect when the final rankings come out... Imagine his size with guard ball handling abilities, the ability to shoot from outside, and the post up Players on the block. he could be a beast, especially if he could put on 20 pounds of muscle...
